Nilai  20 March 2018 – For the second consecutive year, IHRAM has organised  Halal Food Forensics Training to the Politeknik Nilai students as part of Halal Science Programme.17 graduating diploma students in biotechnology has participated in this one day program.

The training was designed to expose the students in understanding the basic concept of Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) and its analysis technique for food product. Students are taught on how to apply theDNA method for Halal analysis through hands-on session on DNA extraction, Dassessment and porcine DNA detection via common and modern analytical techniques.
